"How do you move 40,000 books in 4 hours?"

You Call Hallett Movers, That's How!

That's what Morton Grove Public Library asked Hallett Movers to do this past summer when they re-carpeted their Youth Services Department. Hallett staff are trained to use a unique library range lifting and moving device called a 'range mover' to relocate stacks during re-carpeting and stacks re-organization projects. The stacks are moved with the volumes in place. The range mover is not just for libraries, it can be used for some commercial and industrial moves with certain types of shelving.

Nippersink Public Library, in Richmond, IL also engaged Hallett and our range mover as they renovated their library for an upcoming 40th anniversary in November. Cynthia Cole, Director, said " You guys rock and we couldn't have done the project without you."
